Is ClauseGuide available in my country?
ClauseGuide is currently only available to professionals located in the European Union.
What are credits and how do they work?
Credits are used for operations within the application.
All your workspaces share the same credit balance.
Each time a feature is used within one of your workspaces, a certain number of credits are consumed based on the type of operation performed.
Each plan includes a monthly allocation of credits that refreshes at the beginning of the billing cycle.
We suggest starting with the free trial to gauge how many credits you’ll need. You can upgrade anytime during the trial.
What features use credits?
Only features powered by AI consume credits.
For example:
- Import a contract and extract text and metadata: 5 credits per contract
- Review a contract with a ClauseGuide Playbook: 5 credits per review
- Compare a contract with one of your templates or guidelines: 5 credits per comparison
- Conversation with AI agents: based on token usage per message (1 credit per 30,000 input tokens or 4,000 output tokens)
- Other AI features: from 1 to 3 credits per feature used
What if I need more credits?
If you need more credits, you have flexible options:
- Purchase additional credits at any time without changing your subscription
- Upgrade your plan for a higher monthly credit allocation

You can explore ClauseGuide features with the Free plan.
Your Free plan begins with a 30-day free trial, providing 100 credits.
At the conclusion of your free trial, if you have not upgraded to a paid plan, your account will automatically transition to the Free plan.
Free plans grant users 20 monthly credits.
You can upgrade to a paid plan at any time.
Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan?
You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time.
When you upgrade or downgrade your plan, the new plan takes effect immediately, starting a new monthly period, and your remaining credits will be transferred to the new plan.
Is there any commitment? Can I cancel my plan?
You can cancel your plan at any time.
When you cancel your plan, your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing cycle.
You may reactivate your plan at any time before the billing cycle ends.
After your subscription ends, your account will be converted to a Free account, and you will still be able to access and download your contracts, edit your guidelines and templates, and view your AI chat history.
What are policies?
Policies are your contract templates and contractual guidelines.
You can import your contract templates and create your contractual guidelines using ClauseGuide Policy Editor.
With ClauseGuide, you can then compare contracts provided by third parties with your policies to check whether they are compliant with your contractual standards.
What are playbooks?
Playbooks are curated contractual guidelines edited by ClauseGuide.
Each Playbook applies to a specific type of contract (e.g. non-disclosure agreements) and contains a set of rules, instructions, and examples that have been specifically drafted with consideration for market practices and standards.
You can use ClauseGuide Playbooks to help you review your contracts.
Can I use ClauseGuide to chat with AI about non-contractual matters?
With ClauseGuide, you can start a conversation at any time with AI to assist you in your daily tasks.
ClauseGuide can handle long and complex documents, and you can add up to four documents per message.
What languages are available?
ClauseGuide supports contracts and documents globally across all languages.
You can choose the default language for AI responses and analysis from the following languages:

- Danish
- Spanish

- Dutch
- Polish
- Portuguese
- Swedish
The user interface of the application is currently only available in English.
Do you moderate the conversations with AI?
We do not review your conversations with AI.
However, to ensure proper use of the platform, an automatic content moderation system flags AI conversations that are not compliant with ClauseGuide terms and conditions (e.g. sexual content, violence, etc.).
What kind of user support do you provide?
You can access ClauseGuide documentation within the application.
In addition, an AI support agent is available for free to help you understand all ClauseGuide features and guide you through the application.
